Away from Scarefest, Nick's music runs through Alton Towers year-round. Mutiny Bay has its own area score; the Explorers' Pizza and Pasta Buffet has music written to be heard over a dining room.

At Christmas the resort changes key. Towers Street gets a seasonal score and the Elves' Emporium grotto is scored room by room — the Workshop, Santa's Grotto, a North Pole platform — so that walking between them is an audible transition rather than a crossfade.
