Alton Towers Resort· 2015 — present
Scarefest
The event and the Towers Street audio that greets every guest at its entrance.
- Composer
- Sound Designer
Alton Towers becomes a different place in October and the transformation is largely audible. Nick has written for Scarefest since 2015 — the longest-running of the Halloween relationships.
The street audio is the event's own front door. It is the first thing a guest hears, it has to work in daylight and after dark and its job is to tell somebody the park they visited in August is not the park they are standing in now.
The individual attractions are case studies of their own: Sub Species: The End Games, The Haunting of Molly Crowe and the Dark Apocalypse and Nox Infernus scare zones.
