Theme Park Fan began because the parks were shut. Written entirely during the 2020 lockdown, it is a celebration of theme park enthusiasts and the communities they build — a subject nobody had put on a stage before.
Nick wrote the book, the music and the lyrics, orchestrated it and produced the recording, assembling a cast remotely. The show picked up coverage on BBC North West and BBC Lancashire and raised money for CALM.
The full production, the behind-the-scenes cast and creative interviews and the individual numbers are all published on Nick's channel.
